MURDER MOUNTAIN
There is no disagreement on the subject; Talto is a terrible, terrible place no one in their right mind would ever visit. A whirlwind of death and blood rages for as far as the eye can see. Meat swarms the land, squirming, writhing, and bleeding all over. Cultists reign over wretched, ichor-flecked towns. Meat monsters thrash and vivisect one another everywhere one looks. Artillery rakes the land from above and below, kicking off incredible firestorms all across the continent. Gunfire, screaming, fleshy noises beyond description - silence simply does not exist.
There is only one bastion of untainted flesh that has stood the test of time on Talto. From its foot to its peak, the Big Toe is covered in Looney bunkers, organized into countless small networks operating in concert with one another. Gunship flights run tandem to armored patrols and artillery barrages. Trained soldiers stand guard at every town and village along its slopes. Aliens and spacers stand shoulder-to-shoulder with locals and Loonies all throughout. It is the unblinking eye of the storm, ruled over by grit and sheer volume of fire. It's an awful place to be.
