SUMMARY
A relatively healthy young man built physically and mentally to survive the wilds- he can handle most of what Set can send his way. Well, "most" leaning towards the more mundane and tamer series of obstacles Set can dream up, at least (Geodisplacement Events have achieved a fairly high score on his dislikes-chart recently). Polite (if understandably cautious) and seemingly in control of his emotions with newcomers, he doesn't radiate any of the common xenophobic hostilities that plague most terrestrial humans. Quick wits and ingenuity are a necessary survival tool for anyone who steps outside of a reinforced safe house on Set. Luckily, hes got an ever helpful robo-buddy tagging along on his adventures.
APPEARANCE
Basic Features
Standing several inches under six feet (in boots), Hale does not make for a particularly intimidating figure. His hair is brown, eyes hazel, and skin moderately healthy for a man who spent half his life beneath the surface of Set. While usually covered in a low grade particle-filter gaiter (synonymous with 'scarf'), his face clearly shows relatively youthful features- nearly passing as vaguely feminine. While remaining rather lithe, he usually wears something that resembles a softsuit under rugged but comfortable clothes that hide his form and help blend in with the forestry of his home locale. That said, his body is packed with all the muscle a survivor would need to do his job and then some.
The only real markings of experience (aside from the usual Set-prescribed baggy eyes and stress lines) would be the various scars marking a majority of his right half. Most would seem to be from claws and bites of the wildlife around his home, but several are clearly gifts of life-and-death encounters. Apparently, those miscellaneous pieces of armor don't cover everything they need to.

-HG-9 "Hunny Gun" Shotgun (Zappy-Fingers mod installed): A unique creation of a local smith that clearly took all of the classic features of the standard pump-action 12-gauge, with two distinct differences; A battery rack attached to the stock, and a nearly unnoticeable rail system spanning the entirety of the stock, barrel, and action. Insulated Gloves are recommended.
-Utility Tanto Knife (11"): Seven inches of straight edged metal sharp enough to shave with- assuming you don't use the after-market serrated addition towards the handle.
-Repurposed Quiver: Clearly used to house arrows- likely had matching bow to complete the set. Now useful for carrying small or lengthy items such as firewood. Made of sturdy leather (locally produced).
-5-Pocket Backpack: Its a backpack. It holds things. Mysterious things- like extra clothes and gods-awful ration bars.
-Utility Belt: Mostly used to carry ammo and batteries, but also contains several pouches for even more mysterious storage options.
-Insulated Gloves: A dark set of what amounts to tactical electrician gloves.

-Armored Device: A reinforced pauldron and rerebrace set on Hale's upper left arm designed to hold and protect some form of device connected to his artificial companion.
