In the time since, Fairbrook's kept up its duties as the customs agents and cops of their little slice of low orbit. Dedication to their duty has left them lightly paralyzed in the growth department. With the shortage of salvaging operations and the limited room to expand, new ships and fresh faces are slow to come. Even then, Fairbrook's position is as firmly entrenched as some of the most established in orbit. While it remains to be seen if it'll ever start growing again, there's not one reason to believe the FOD is ever going to go away.
